Senior Technical Specialist

The Senior Technical Specialist will be responsible for supporting the Chief Strategy Officer on activities related to implementing the organisation’s strategy. This strategy is focused on implementing the organisation’s mission at scale with open market millers, government partners, quasi-government partners and through the generation of evidence. The Senior Technical Specialist will collaborate with the rest of the Executive team (i.e. CEO, CSO and Chief of Staff) to ideate and execute Fortify Health’s strategy.

As part of this role, the Senior Technical Specialist will be heavily involved in supporting the leaders of the programmatic departments on their activities. This will include:

Programs - Ms Shakun Sharma (Director) - This role shall involve supporting the expansion of Fortify Health’s open market intervention. This expansion will likely occur through: expansion into new geographies, partnerships with retailers, and investigation into potential fortification of maida.
Monitoring, Evaluation and Research - Dr Prasad Boagam (Director): This role shall involve supporting the development of high-quality monitoring and evaluation designs, analysing data, developing robust systems for M&E activities and building team capacity.
Partnerships - Dr Rekharani Sharma (Associate Director) and Mr Ashwin MB (Associate Director): This role shall involve supporting in the development of partnerships with government, NGO partners and other stakeholders at both state and national level.

The Senior Technical Specialist will report to Fortify Health’s Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) who directly supervises the leaders of the programmatic departments.
