Due to the nature of this role we will be reviewing applications on an ongoing basis and the role might be filled and closed before the closing date. Early applications are encouraged. The Program Officer will assist in managing a range of partnerships with mills for the implementation of an upcoming project in partnership with the Government of Madhya Pradesh. The Program Officer will be based out of Bhopal or Indore (with up to 60% of their time including travel to other locations, mostly in Madhya Pradesh) and will assist the Partnerships team in ensuring that fortification work in the project’s partner mills is conducted as per standards set by Fortify Health and FSSAI. This includes equipment installation, maintaining the sound implementation of fortification in the mill, ensuring our processes are compliant with regulatory standards of fortification, and collaborating with the Monitoring and Evaluation team at Fortify Health to ensure fortification operations in mills are based on evidence. The Program Officer will also have a base of knowledge about the milling industry and milling technology, to facilitate fortification successfully in mills. The Program Officer will initially report to the Director of Government Relations, and will receive mentorship from management in the Program team. |
