Due to the nature of this role we will be reviewing applications on an ongoing basis and the role might be filled and closed before the closing date. Early applications are encouraged. The M&E Officer will assist in managing a range of partnerships over quality assurance of atta fortification in our partner mills, specifically for the implementation of projects in partnership with state government departments. They will be based in Bhopal (with up to 50% of their time including travel to other locations, mostly in Madhya Pradesh, ensuring adequate safety as per Fortify Health guidelines). This role will collaborate with the project’s partner mills and Fortify Health’s Partnerships team to ensure that mills are fortifying their flour adequately and safely, by managing the quality assurance process of fortified atta. The M&E Officer will coordinate communications with quality assurance staff in partner mills. They will closely work with the Program, Regulatory Affairs, and Partnerships teams at Fortify Health. The M&E Officer will be responsible for ensuring collaborative work takes place in partner mills of MPSCSC. They will also have a base of knowledge about data collection, analysis, and food technology to facilitate monitoring of fortification in mills. They will initially report to Fortify Health’s Director of Research, Monitoring and Evaluation, and will work closely with the Director of Government Relations. |
