The Junior Quality Control Officer will be based in Pune ensuring the quality of fortified atta and other aspects of the program as per Fortify Health guidelines. This person will be solely responsible for doing quantitative iron testing of fortified atta to ensure our partner mills are fortifying their flour adequately and safely.
The Junior Quality Control Officer will be responsible for quality checks of premix, analyzing the testing data, preparing the reports based on analysis, communicating the outcomes with relevant team members, and preparing and maintaining SOPs for the quality control work. The Junior Quality Control Officer will manage communications with external laboratory partners for regular sample testing. They will closely work with the M&E, Program, and Regulatory Affairs teams at Fortify Health. The Junior Quality Control Officer will be responsible for ensuring collaborative work with the M&E team. They will also have a base of knowledge about sample collection, analysis, and food technology to facilitate fortification successfully in mills.
