Before cofounding Fortify Health, Brendan worked with Partners in Health (Socios en Salud) in Peru on the development of their mental health program. This work ranged from implementing a perinatal depression intervention in the field to advancing the WHO mental health systems evaluation at the Ministry of Health. He graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Harvard College, where he studied Cognitive Neuroscience & Evolutionary Psychology and Global Health & Health Policy. His interests include effective altruism, global mental health, and homelessness.
Prior to cofounding Fortify Health, Nikita worked in global health communications at Malaria Consortium and, before this, was a Research and Outreach Intern at the Centre for Effective Altruism. She has previously worked with refugees as the Director of International Strategy and Communications of OXPAND, and as a Researcher and Project Leader at Voenna Rampa Refugee Camp in Sofia, Bulgaria. She graduated from University of Oxford with a BA in French and German.
